We discussed using the Close Reading Strategies to help with multi-step word problems. Here are some ways to help break apart those lengthy and "wordy" math problems!

What should work look like when solving word problems using the 4 step process? Below is an example that shows all of the steps (labels and estimations included in "Solve"). I'm looking for all steps included, organized work, and neat handwriting.

Attendance Awareness Month

September is Attendance Awareness Month!  Paine Intermediate is joining with Trussville City Schools and the state of Alabama to promote perfect attendance during the month of September.  See the letter below explaining this.
